| This is a very recent incident. One day, my mother was in a bad mood. She shouted at me and told me to sit down to study. I did. But I was in no mood to study at that time. Suddenly, I saw the 600th issue of Tinkle lying beside me which I had purchased the previous day. I could not resist it and hid it in my English book and pretended to study. Fortunately, my textbook was bigger and wider than Tinkle. But I feared that if my mother saw it, she would certainly spit fire at me. So, even if I sensed a little movement, I would hide it. But when I was busy reading a story, someone entered the room calling me. I nearly got a heart attack! My heart was beating like a hammer. I started moving helter-skelter to hide the book. Fortunately, it was my little brother asking for some help with the mobile. I was so relieved. |
